Madras School of Economics (MSE) is a post-graduate college for teaching and research in Economics. It offers a two-year post graduate course in Economics, the admission to which is done on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the college.
Madras School of Economics (MSE) was established in 1995 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The college offers Integrated (BA+MA), Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in Economics. The college prioritizes the study of Microeconomics.
Admissions to the courses offered in this college are conducted on the basis of Merit as well as a number Entrance Examinations. Applications can be submitted both Online and Offline at Madras School of Economics.
- The integrated 5
year year program leading to MA Economics is entrance based, that is
scores obtained in 10+2 exams and CUCET for admissions.
- Admission to MA in
various divisions of Economics is also based on scores in CUCET. Including
scores obtained in the undergraduate degree.
- There is also a PG
Diploma course offered in two areas for students facing technically
challenging jobs. Admission is based on entrance scores of GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT.
- Ph.D. is offered
based on scores in CUCET or UGC-NET or JRF. The students must have a valid
