IIT Madras Admissions 2025
IIT Madras offers various courses at the UG, PG,
Diploma and PhD levels. Admission to these courses is based on entrance exams,
such as JEE Advanced, GATE, etc., conducted by the designated authorities.
Admission to BTech courses requires JEE Advanced scores. For MTech admissions,
GATE score is accepted, and for admission to the Master of Science, IIT JAM
score is required. Candidates are required to satisfy the cutoff criteria,
followed by the counselling round, to pursue any of the courses offered by IIT
Madras.

Candidates must visit the official website of NTA for
admissions to BTech courses. For admission into MTech courses, candidates need
to visit the official website of GATE. MSc admissions are based on the IIT JAM
score, for which students need to register online. With the help of the

IIT Madras Top Exams Accepted
IIT Madras accepts various exams conducted by
distinguished authorities for admission to its UG, PG and PhD courses. Some of
them are listed below:
JEE Mains/ Advanced: For BTech programs, JEE Main and JEE
Advanced are the primary entrance exams. Candidates are required a minimum of
75% aggregate marks in Class 12 (PCM) to appear for JEE Mains/Advanced.
GATE: Candidates need to clear the GATE exam to get
admission into MTech and MA programs.
